I am a performance-maker, theatre director, and interdisciplinary collaborator working between Berlin and Istanbul, belonging to both cultures, fully at home in neither. My work moves from personal material through rigorous research into live performance, creating temporary communities that exist only for the duration of a piece. I devise frameworks where the stage and audience share the same plane, where strangers become co-authors, and where the boundary between participant and witness dissolves. Moving fluidly between directing, writing, dramaturgy, and teaching, I speak the artistic language of every collaborator in the room. What drives my work is not representation but proposition: performance as a space where new ways of being together can be rehearsed, and where that act of rehearsal changes something real.
