Euridice's Cry Written & Directed by Şahika Tekand | Studio Oyuncuları

Ayşe Draz performed as part of the chorus in the world premiere of Euridice's Cry, presented at the 15th International Istanbul Theatre Festival and the 4th International Theatre Olympics in June 2006.

Based on Sophocles's Antigone, the play is the final work of Tekand's Oedipus Trilogy, built around questions of individual rights, civil conflict, and the clash between law and ethical principle. Through a strict matrix of movement and light, the stage becomes a live game space where the performer's risk is real — and where Euridice's long-silenced rebellion cry is finally heard.
