N’olcak Bu Yusuf Umut’un Hali (What Will Become of Yusuf Umut)
Co-directed by Ayşe Draz and Nezaket Erden, N’olcak Bu Yusuf Umut’un Hali (What Will Become of Yusuf Umut) is a solo performance created collectively with writer-performer Hakan Emre Ünal and writer Alis Çalışkan for Tiyatro Hemhâl. The play follows Yusuf Umut, a restless, boundary-defying young man who drifts between worlds, relationships and identities, unable to belong anywhere yet irresistibly drawn to everything. Developed through an extended devising process in which writing, directing and performance were deeply intertwined, the production blends storytelling, improvisation and a distinctive theatrical language entirely its own.From the press:
