panorama radio
All aboard! panorama radio invites you on a joyride through the city. Buckle up and let the conversation begin, about shared experiences, current events, and things you'd like to say out loud. Conceived and directed by Marlin de Haan and Ayşe Draz, the performance departs from responses gathered through a questionnaire sent out in advance. Edited and woven into a soundscape, these voices and perspectives enter into dialogue with one another, and with you. What does it mean to create community and public space, even within a temporary, private one?

Taking place in private cars over 45 minutes, panorama radio is a participatory performance that thinks and speaks on public issues and personal perspectives. Passengers are not just an audience, they are part of the conversation. The ride begins and ends at the same spot, but the questions it raises travel further.

panorama radio thinks and ’speaks' on public issues and personal perspectives on the public, departing from the responses we got to our survey; this is a performance project that questions the conditions of creating a community, even if temporarily.
